who we are?
Change1 Child is a nonprofit, non governmental organization that takes action against failing schools, hunger and poverty affecting children around the world.
Change 1 Child takes the stance that education through motivation, exposure and interest based learning are some of the key components needed to reach children and initiate a spark
for learning. Enabling children to see themselves beyond their current conditions and circumstances by placing in their hands literature that makes a connection to their daily lives,
while at the same time expands their thoughts and ideas regarding their own potential.

Project I AM: Orphans in Ghana, West Africa
I AM motherless, I AM fatherless but I am NOT hopeless.
Change 1 Child has partnered with two orphanages in Ghana, West Africa. Change 1 Child's coordinator in Ghana will visit each orphanage twice a month to read to the children,
provide books, clothing and school supplies to each child.
